Comfort and Care Prayer Shawl Ministry
It’s a great feeling to be wrapped in love and this ministry knows just how to do that. On the third Friday of every month from 10:00 am till noon a group of ladies meet to pray while they knit or crochet shawls for those who are ill need encouragement, or have a prayer need. They usually bring items for lunch and enjoy sweet fellowship afterwards. After the shawls are completed, they are delivered to the ones they’ve been praying for. From babies to adults this ministry has brought much comfort & has seen many answers to prayers. For more information you may contact Floy Barber at 903-663-5323.

Friday Prayer Room Volunteer
The Prayer Room is a vital part of our ministry at Mobberly Baptist Church. Our prayer line is always open so it is important that an intercessor be available to meet those incoming prayer needs. If your schedule does not permit you to volunteer each week in the Prayer Room, you can join on a rotational basis with other volunteers every Friday. Lydia Ladies
As a woman who found Christ through “irresistible grace” in Acts 16, Lydia’s faithfulness through paryer and hospitable heart has inspired our lady prayer warriors to follow in her footsteps. The Lydia Ladies are engaged in praying for Women’s Ministry in several areas. They pray for the Women’s Ministry staff, team leaders, ministries on and off campus, along with special events. They are excited about being a part of God’s Kingdom work in the lives of young teens to women of all ages. They meet every 2nd Monday of each month at 1:30 PM in the Bride’s room next to the Parlor.
