Moms In Prayer International is an interdenominational nonprofit ministry of moms, grandmothers, or any woman who wants to pray for her child, teachers, and school. They meet for one hour a week to pray. MITI pray using a four step format of Praise, Confession, Thanksgiving, and Intercession, praying for the lives of their children and that their schools would be directed by biblical values and high moral standards. MITI does not promote any political agenda, but rather seeks to be a positive support and encouragement to the schools. We are convinced that God desires us to pray (Proverbs 15:8b), commands us to pray (1Thessalonians 5:17), and is even moved to action through our prayers (Matthew 7:7).
